Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates. /p pThe Logistics Operation Lead BioLOG, together with the team leads, is responsible for the daily management and monitoring of operational processes at the BioLOG logistics centre in compliance with all GMP and GDP requirements. He ensures the smooth, safe, and quality‑compliant handling of all logistics processes from goods receipt to storage and picking to shipping. In doing so, he acts as the central interface between the operational team, quality, planning, engineering, EHS and logistics management. He also oversees audits and inspections and costs in his area of responsibility. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liLead and develop your team through training, coaching and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. /li liManage resource planning, absence management and employee development to ensure operational flexibility. /li liCoordinate all logistical tasks between customers and internal stakeholders. /li liOversee the accurate receipt, booking, sampling and storage of goods. /li liEnsure timely material supply to production, manage material flows, stock control and SAP EWM transactional data. /li liMaintain smooth material and information flow between external warehouses, internal logistics and production. /li liGuarantee on‑time, GDP compliant customer order shipments, including picking, packing and shipping documentation. /li liCollaborate closely with customer service, shipping planning and supply chain teams. /li liManage freight forwarding activities for the Visp plant. /li liDrive process optimisation through regular Kaizen meetings and implementing efficiency improvements. /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liA European Logistics Degree (nice to have). /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational pharmaceutical environment. /li liStrong project and programme management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders. /li liExcellent analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. BI solutions). /li liAbility to thrive in a matrix organisation. /li liFluency in English and German, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pCompensation programmes that recognise high performance.
