Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Onsite Support Engineer to join our team. As the main point of contact for end users with IT-related issues, requests or questions, you will be responsible for resolving software, hardware and device issues reported by the end users. Additionally, you will support the troubleshooting of connectivity issues and network elements including ISP circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless equipment and telephony system.
Main Responsibilities:
• Act as the main point of contact for end users with IT-related issues, requests or questions
• Resolve software, hardware and device issues reported by the end users
• Support the troubleshooting of connectivity issues and network elements including ISP circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless equipment and telephony system
• Implement and support remote access solution (VPN)
• Escalate service issues when required
• Communicate with end users as required, keeping them informed of ticket progress
• Advise and train staff on computer operations and software applications
