In this remote position, you will play a critical role in enhancing our database infrastructure. You'll work within one hour of Swiss local time, enjoying the freedom of remote work while staying aligned with our team.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your primary task will be to audit and verify our current single-server MySQL deployment. Following your analysis, you will be responsible for migrating it to a new, robust configuration that includes a replica server. This new setup will support heavy analytics workloads without impacting our core systems.
What We'll Need From You
- Proven DBA Experience: You are an experienced Database Administrator with strong knowledge of MySQL.
- Deployment Expertise: You have hands-on experience deploying MySQL on both servers and in containerized environments.
- Problem-Solver: You can work independently in ambiguous situations, proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Accountable: You have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your deliverables and timelines.
