With a solid background in customer premises equipment, firmware, and network technologies, and an unwavering commitment to delivering cutting-edge connected home solutions, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager - CPE and Connect Home.Main responsibilitiesCPE Portfolio Management- Maintain and continuously improve the current portfolio of CPEs and repeaters.- Report field issues to CPE vendors, resolve problems, and provide structured data to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.- Coordinate and actively participate in regular technical meetings with CPE vendors to align responsibilities, priorities, and roadmaps.- Define the scope and content of firmware maintenance updates.- Develop and execute test plans for vendor firmware releases.- Participate in X-OpCo forums within the Group to promote best practices and harmonized CPE solutions.Selection and development of new products- Implement RFI/RFQ processes for the selection of new CPEs and extension products.- Contribute to the end-to-end development of new CPEs and extenders:- Define and maintain technical specifications.- Contribute to design decisions regarding the housing and packaging.- Work closely with vendor project managers to define and track project timelines (DVT, PVT, firmware updates, time-to-market).- Collaborate with Salt network and IT teams to ensure readiness for new product launches.- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches, training, and growth.- Manage firmware deployment and supervision via the CPE ACS.- Collaborate closely with support and customer service teams to gather customer feedback and resolve issues encountered in the field.Connected Home and evolution of the ecosystem- Contribute to the development of new services for the connected home (e.g., device security, gateway security, service-aware QoS).- Participate in the definition, deployment, and lifecycle management of CPE management systems.- Lead small to medium-sized technical projects in the connected home domain.- Participate in X-OpCo forums to present new features, resolve complex issues, and shape future solutions.- Collaborate with domain experts within the company to build a shared technical vision and reach a consensus.- Prepare clear and impactful technical documentation and materials for internal stakeholders and external partners.- Take responsibility for technical decisions and successfully lead assigned projects.What you bring- Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.- 5+ years of experience with network equipment and CPEs.- 3+ years of experience in managing small to medium-sized projects in the technical sector.- In-depth technical knowledge in several of the following areas:- CPE firmware- TR-069 / TR-369- Wi-Fi technologies- XGS-PON / FTTH- VoIP- IoT- Linux- xDSL- Proven experience working with systems in production and real-world devices – not limited to lab or RFI/RFQ processes.- Technical curiosity and a continuous learning mindset; autonomous and comfortable exploring unknown areas.- Ability to define a long-term technical strategy while remaining pragmatic and focused on delivery.- Solid technical judgment to evaluate vendor solutions and technological trends with limited resources.- The confidence to challenge assumptions and vendors constructively, while remaining open to feedback.- Team player and ability to collaborate effectively, comfortable during in-depth technical working sessions with colleagues and vendors.- Structured individual, capable of solving problems hierarchically, with excellent analytical skills and a focus on impact.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Proactive, approachable, and quality-oriented personality.- Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher).
