OverviewTo strengthen our Market & Quantitative Risk team, we are looking for a Risk Technology Manager with solid technical expertise and a strong interest in risk analytics. This position reports directly to the Head of Market & Quantitative Risk Management and plays a key role in setting up and configuring the analytical framework needed for the operations of the Market Risk department. Acting as the interface between Market Risk and IT, this role implements IT policies related to security and quality and ensures that the system landscape operates securely and reliably to support the accurate calculation of key risk indicators.Your main responsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining our analytical backbone required for the operations of quantitative and market risk managementSetting up and configuring calculations of key risk indicatorsManaging internal data needs sourced from other stakeholders, such as positions and market dataEnabling efficient processes for reporting, validation and price testingDriving the technical aspects of internal initiatives aimed at enhancing and further developing our key risk indicatorsImplementing IT policies related to system security and qualityActing as an interface towards IT, coordinating technical responsibilities for the risk engine between IT and risk teamsMaintaining Linux and Windows servers as well as cloud setups (AWS)Your profileDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative fieldSeveral years of experience working with IT solutions for risk management or PnL reportingStrong practical knowledge of relational databases, SQL and OracleSolid programming experience in Python, including Pandas and NumPyExperience with GitLab or similar version control toolsFamiliarity with cloud technologies, ideally AWSExperience with Linux server managementKnowledge of power and gas markets and products and understanding of core risk management concepts is a plusFluent in English; German is an advantageNote: If you are coming from a job portal, please click directly on “Apply now”!
