Main goal
UEFA’s Editorial Content Services manage the delivery of all shoulder programming and content services to support UEFA's broadcast partners and stakeholders in their coverage and promotion of UEFA's competitions and activities.
Reporting to the Senior Additional Programming Expert, the Additional Programming Specialist will take the lead on all pre- and in-tournament crew planning and movement plans, liaising with key stakeholders to set in place the match attendance plan and team base camp access, and define the equipment inventory and related logistics. The Additional Programming Specialist will also be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the project budget, including managing payment schedules, raising purchase orders, reconciling budgets and preparing financial forecasts. Initially based in Nyon, Switzerland, you will relocate to the international broadcast centre in Birmingham to support our UEFA EURO 2028 on‑site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and managing pre‑ and in‑tournament on‑site crew operations and requesting related services from relevant internal stakeholders
Preparing and reviewing internal documentation for internal staff and external suppliers, including assisting with the preparation of training documents, standard procedures, guidelines and workshops
Working with internal stakeholders to agree and arrange in‑tournament access requirements and filming positions
Leading the working group responsible for defining the crew equipment requirements, media management protocols and workflows
Managing the project budget, payment schedules, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, preparing budget forecasts and reconciliations
Raising supplier, services and freelance contracts
Clearing third‑party material such as archive footage and music rights
Managing ad‑hoc projects and administrative tasks as required
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' production management experience in a broadcasting or production company, preferably in a sports environment with experience in major events
Education
Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
Languages
English / Proficient

Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
Excellent administrative, numeracy and organisational skills, with the ability to react to changes in priorities by reorganising your workload to meet deadlines and targets
Solid understanding of the different stages of the production process, including compliance, third‑party approvals, insurance and health and safety matters
Working knowledge of broadcast formats, technologies and equipment, digital workflows and distribution, including digital and satellite delivery
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and deal sensitively and confidently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
A team‑oriented approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced computer skills, with advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
Working knowledge of SAP
