With solid expertise in the management of mutual funds and direct investment portfolios, and thanks to its in‑depth understanding of insurance companies' investment restrictions / liabilities and effective risk management approach, GIS will strategically contribute to the growth of the Generali Investments platform. /p h3Your role: Shaping modern IT and data processes in a dynamic environment /h3 pGIS is seeking a committed and tech‑savvy IT Governance Operations Specialist that will support the Transformation Office and enjoy taking on responsibility across diverse topics and acting as a central interface between IT, business units and external partners. This role is aimed at candidates with broad interests, solid technical understanding and the ability to recognise business‑related contexts and implement them pragmatically. /p h3IT Governance Operations Specialist (m/w/d) /h3 h3MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE JOB /h3 pNavigating real life together. /p h3What to expect /h3 ul libIT Operations, Data Governance /b ul liSupporting quality and operational management by reviewing relevant SLAs and KPIs. /li liContributing to cloud and security topics as well as to the assessment and management of IT related risks. /li liAdvancing the data organization by defining responsibilities, establishing clear governance structures and promoting data quality. /li liOrganising training sessions and information formats for the introduction of new technologies and to strengthen digital collaboration within the company. /li /ul /li libProcess optimization efficiency improvements /b ul liAnalyzing existing workflows and identifying optimisation potential in processes, tools and interfaces. /li liImplementing concrete improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. /li /ul /li libOutsourcing partner coordination /b ul liSupporting the coordination of outsourcing activities. /li liConducting due diligence assessments in collaboration with relevant departments. /li liMaintaining and further developing professional relationships with external service partners. /li /ul /li libProcurement, contract and compliance support /b ul liContributing to procurement processes and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines. /li liCoordinating legally relevant aspects of contracts in alignment with internal experts. /li /ul /li libBusiness continuity inventory /b ul liSupporting the maintenance and further development of business continuity processes. /li liEnsuring the accuracy and proper structuring of the IT inventory. /li /ul /li libDigitalisation projects /b ul liContributing to digital transformation initiatives, such as the renewal of the corporate website or other company‑wide digitalisation efforts. /li /ul /li /ul h3The skills you'll bring /h3 ul liDegree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification. /li liApproximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in IT operations, data management, governance or process optimisation. /li liBroad technical understanding with interest in IT operations, data management and process design. /li liInitial knowledge in cloud technologies, outsourcing or IT risks is an advantage. /li liHigh level of initiative, structured working style and ability to independently prioritise tasks. /li liStrong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders. /li liExcellent German and English skills. /li liStrong affinity for emerging technologies and hands‑on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data‑driven solutions; ability to identify pragmatic AI use cases to improve processes, data quality and decision‑making. /li liFamiliarity with modern IT systems and tools (Azure or AWS, ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, data governance solutions, Microsoft 365, Jira) is a strong asset. /li liRelevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, COBIT, and/or cloud certifications are considered a plus; experience in a regulated environment (financial services/insurance) is an advantage. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liA varied and responsible role with room for personal contribution. /li liDirect collaboration with the Transformation Office and insights into strategic initiatives. /li liParticipation in relevant digitalisation and transformation projects. /li liFlexible working models as well as attractive development and learning opportunities. /li /ul h3Your benefits /h3 pYour office?
