Job Description
Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals hardware problems, as well as desktop applications.
* Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. Ability to perform smart hand activities under instruction-based activities at sites and from remote teams.
* Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Expertise in desk side support and PC repair, including basic administration of Windows OS and Mac OS.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
* Support for peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, and multi-port data termination panels under ‘Smart Hands’ capability.
* Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues using deductive reasoning and resolve end-user network cabling problems.
* Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
* Familiarity with operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems such as MS Windows, MS Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM, DHCP, VPN, etc.
Requirements
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and management, along with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines, complete tasks proactively with a sense of urgency.
* Bilingual in English and local language (B2 level).

* Full internet-ready mobile device.
* Noise-canceling headsets.
* Remote support tools: TeamViewer, MS Teams, Putty, remote connection software, admin access to laptops.
* RJ45 port on laptops.
* Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy is an advantage.
Note: We are seeking a highly capable, customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our End User Computing (EUC) team in Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available. This role involves monitoring multiple channels (phone, email, Slack, ServiceNow), providing deskside and remote support, installing and maintaining computers and peripherals, imaging and deploying laptops/desktops, and supporting AV/VC systems, among other responsibilities.
