We are looking for a (Senior) Portfolio Analyst who will support the Reinsurance Portfolio Actuary in guiding and reporting on the Reinsurance Segment’s business planning and portfolio assessment.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
1. Facilitate the submission of the Reinsurance Business Plan by actively participating in data transfer to Anaplan and collaborating with their technical team to optimize the system and streamline the process. Develop a good understanding of the numbers and metrics involved to support reporting and ensure alignment between applications, liaising with the Data and Reporting team as needed.
2. Contribute to the development of the Underwriting Plan Tool by incorporating user feedback and exploring new functionalities.
3. Support the maintenance and development of dashboards in Power BI to assess the predictiveness of various metrics through exploratory data analysis, testing new metrics, and engaging with business experts to refine and communicate findings.
4. Participate in the Top Down Loss Ratio Review process by assisting in data preparation, developing templates, and providing user support.
5. Collaborate with the Underwriting Risk team to support the alignment of loads applied in pricing with those established by the Risk Management Team.
6. Perform other activities as directed by the Portfolio Actuary to support Portfolio Design and Reporting of the Reinsurance Segment.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
1. Experience in the actuarial field or a related area, ideally within insurance or reinsurance.
2. Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in Power BI and/or Python preferred.
3. Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
