We are looking for a Key Account Manager in Switzerland.
Key responsibilities
Identifying and approaching potential new customers and identifying market and sales opportunities
Conducting sales talks and needs analysis
Building relationships with decision-makers in target companies
Developing customer-specific acquisition strategies and strategic support, as well as developing A and B customers
Providing expert advice on Soudal AG products and application solutions
Ensuring long-term customer relationships and satisfaction through regular client visits
Identifying new business areas and strategic partnerships
Participating in trade fairs and events for networking purposes
Responsibility for regional sales and margin targets as well as conducting negotiations
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding existing key accounts in the western Switzerland region. There is the potential to develop into a Country Manager in the future.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Several years of successful sales experience in a technical environment, ideally in the building materials and/or fittings trade or in the building materials supply industry
Strong interest in product innovation and technological innovations
In-depth understanding of complex products and their possible applications
High level of initiative, talented self-organization and entrepreneurial thinking
Keen to network and a convincing personality for field sales
Digital affinity and experience with CRM systems and modern sales tools
Negotiation skills, assertiveness and strategic thinking for market strategies
Fluency in German, French and English is an advantage
