At BOBST, you will play a central role in enhancing the Mechanical design environments and methodologies used across our engineering teams. /p pAs a Mechanical Design Product Owner, you will be responsible not only for our core solutions such as CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, but also for other ad‑hoc tools and applications used within the group. Your mission is to define the vision, structure the roadmap, and lead the continuous improvement of this ecosystem to ensure smoother, more coherent, and business‑aligned design processes. /p pYou will collaborate closely with RDE (Research Development and Engineering team) to ensure seamless integration and strong user adoption. /p h3Product Ownership Vision /h3 ul liDefine and own the product vision and roadmap for MCAD capabilities. /li liBuild, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on business value and engineering needs. /li liDrive the adoption of MCAD best practices, modelling standards, configuration management principles, and design workflows. /li liBusiness transformation of the MCAD application portfolio to support decommissioning of legacy app and practices towards the target set of applications and processes. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Collaboration /h3 ul liWork closely with mechanical engineering teams, including local key users, to understand pain points and translate them into actionable user stories. /li liCollaborate with IT, and downstream functions (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Simulation, Quality) to ensure alignment and data continuity. /li liCommunicate updates, decisions, changes, and expectations clearly across the organization. /li /ul h3Implementation Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liLead and support enhancements, upgrades, and new functionalities across CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related tools—particularly within the BOBST Transformation Program. /li liEvaluate new releases, perform impact analyses, execute central testing, and coordinate validation with key users. /li liMonitor platform performance and user feedback to drive ongoing optimization. /li liSupport training materials, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives. /li /ul pBusiness travel: up to 50% of your time – 4‑5 days per month on short term trips in Europe and regular 1 to 2 week trips to our entities (e.g., Asia). /p h3Your profile /h3 h3Education Experience /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /li liDemonstrated experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a PLM/MCAD environment. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liProven experience with CATIA V5 and/or V6. /li liStrong familiarity with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (3DX). /li liSolid understanding of mechanical design processes, CAD methodologies, and PLM principles. /li liAbility to work in agile frameworks and write clear, structured user stories. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience configuring or administering 3DX roles/modules (Part Design, Assembly Design, Engineering Release, Collaborative Lifecycle). /li liKnowledge of downstream domains such as manufacturing engineering, FEA, or systems engineering. /li liCertifications (CSPO, PSPO) or PLM/CATIA‑related training. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish: fluent /li liFrench: a plus /li /ul h3What You Will Find At BOBST /h3 ul liYou contribute to a major digital transformation program and shape how engineering work is delivered. /li liTraining, certifications, expert communities — your growth is part of our strategy. /li liCross‑functional work, autonomy, ownership, and a strong engineering network. /li liLong‑term projects, strong company foundations, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
