Location: Singapore (Remote – Home Office), with onboarding in Vienna, Austria, and occasional business trips as required.

Working hours: Full-time

As we continue to grow through our Go-Global initiative and strategic partnerships, we are looking for talented individuals to join us in shaping the future of regulatory compliance and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.

Role

We are seeking a driven and organized Business Development Manager for APAC that will spearhead our company’s expansion efforts into this new market. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify opportunities, establish relationships, and drive revenue in uncharted regions. The ideal candidate will possess deep market knowledge, established professional network, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and cultural environments to establish a robust presence for the company focusing on the following key goals:

Your Goals


* Achievement of revenue and sales targets for the new territory.
* Successful establishment of strategic partnerships and client relationships.
* Market share growth within the first 12-18 months of entry.
* Retention and satisfaction of newly onboarded clients and partners.

Your Responsibilities

* Market Entry and Strategy Development
* Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and potential challenges.
* Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the specific characteristics of the new territory.
* Collaborate with Senior Management to define objectives and KPIs for the territory's launch and growth.
* Business Development and Partnerships
* Identify and pursue opportunities to establish partnerships, strategic alliances, and distribution channels.
* Negotiate and close high-value deals to support revenue generation and market penetration.
* Build a network of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government entities, to facilitate smooth market entry.
* Revenue Growth and Sales Leadership
* Drive sales efforts by creating and managing a pipeline of opportunities aligned with company objectives.
* Develop pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies to maximise revenue potential.
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Work closely with internal teams to adapt offerings for the new market.

Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to influence product and service development.

Your Profile

* 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership capacity.
* Proven success in entering and scaling new markets or territories.
* Experience working in Regulatory Reporting or Compliance Solutions Providers is an advantage.
* Strategic Mindset: Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Communication Skills: Immaculate English is a must, fluency in additional languages met in the APAC region would be viewed as an advantage.
* Organizational Skills: Self-motivated, with strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
* Work Hours: Must be available to overlap with Central European Time (CET) for at least 4 hours each day.
* Employment Terms: Hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement on local terms in Singapore.
* Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Singapore without requiring additional visa sponsorship or support.
* Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to different time zones and dynamic working environments.
