The role
We are seeking a dynamic Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to lead the development of advanced MCU subsystems, hardware accelerators, and peripheral interfaces. In this hands‑on technical leadership role, you will architect and benchmark next‑generation designs, guide product teams through integration, and mentor engineers to elevate the team’s technical capabilities.

What You’ll Do
1. Architect, specify, implement, simulate, and benchmark MCU and DSP systems
2. Develop hardware accelerators, and interface peripherals
3. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive design reviews
4. Lead project activities and contribute to methodology and flow improvements
5. Guide product and integration teams on system definition and hardware–software integration
6. Participate in verification, validation, and FPGA prototyping
7. Coordinate SDK and toolchain development with the software team.
What You’ll Need
8. Minimum MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
9. At least 10 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor product development including engineering leadership
10. Experience with embedded CPUs (. ARM Cortex, DSP), AMBA bus protocols (AHB/APB)
11. RTL design of digital IP blocks and systems in Verilog/SystemVerilog
12. Technical document writing
13. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
14. Eligibility to work in Switzerland.

15. Project or task leadership in crossfunctional environments
16. Design of CPU/MCU subsystems, use of SystemRDL, or IPXACT–based flows
17. Understanding of design intent (timing constraints/SDC, power intent/UPF)
18. Programming skills in Python for automation and C/C++ for embedded software
19. Development of signalprocessing components
20. Exposure to RTLtoGDS flows: synthesis, placeandroute, STA, and power analysis
21. Familiarity with advanced digital verification methodologies (., UVM).
