Model-Based Control Engineer (m/f/d) Location: Winterthur Workload: 100% Startdate: By agreement
Responsibilities
Perform requirements analysis and define detailed technical specifications
Analyze and understand controlled processes, often characterized by non-linear and time-varying dynamics
Develop control software strategies using Model-Based Design methodologies
Implement, verify, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality control software solutions
Ensure full compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout the entire V-model process
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project delivery
Contribute proactively as a collaborative team player within multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
Requirements
MSc in Control Engineering (or an equivalent discipline), preferably with specialization in internal combustion engines or mechanical engineering
Strong expertise in advanced model-based control methodologies
Proven experience in the model-based design and development of MIMO systems; prior application within internal combustion engine systems is highly advantageous
Experience in developing embedded real-time applications for distributed system architectures
Solid proficiency in software design and implementation using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
Familiarity with Git and the Atlassian Jira/Confluence workspaces is considered a plus
Very fluent in English
German language skills are considered an advantage
