Join our team as an Application Engineerand become a key contributor to the success of our Clinical Solution and Services Team in the DACH region. In this role, you'll work hands-on with the design, implementation, and delivery of Ascom’s IT-based healthcare solutions—ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of our projects.
You will collaborate with cross-functional experts, provide technical guidance, and play a critical role in translating client needs into reliable system configurations. This is a great opportunity to apply your problem-solving mindset, deepen your technical knowledge in regulated environments, and actively shape how technology supports healthcare professionals.
Your Contributions
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics or equivalent experience
* 2–5 years’ experience in a similar technical role
* Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms (VMWare/Hyper-V), and SQL troubleshooting
* Strong knowledge of enterprise/healthcare network environments (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, HL7)
* Understanding of medical device regulations and data security principles
* Hands-on experience with Ascom systems or similar communication/medical IT solutions
* Good technical troubleshooting skills and ability to manage firewalls and radio coverage assessments
* Strong customer orientation and communication skills
* Time management and prioritization skills
* Ability to produce clear and structured documentation
What We’re Looking For
