Role Overview
As the HR Operations Partner / People Experience Partner for Switzerland (Nyon Campus & Market location Rotkreuz), you will serve as the primary HR contact for all country-specific and complex HR matters, acting as a strategic interface between local stakeholders, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and the Global People Services organization. You will lead the delivery of HR operations and deliver strategic HR priorities with cross‑functional HR teams and be in charge of employee relations, and compliance, ensuring alignment with both global standards and Swiss legal requirements. This role demands a proactive, solution‑oriented professional who can navigate complex contractual topics, manage works council negotiations, and drive continuous optimization and simplification in HR processes.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
Strategic Country Matters & Operational Excellence
* Act as the main point of contact for complex HR topics in Switzerland, including contractual matters, employee relations, and policy creation and interpretation.
* Lead the hire‑to‑retire cycle locally, ensuring seamless execution of payroll, benefits, HR administration, and data integrity.
* Collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver strategic HR priorities, including compensation, benefits, and the annual reward cycle.
* Partner with Centers of Excellence to translate global programs into locally compliant and effective solutions.
* Facilitate local onboarding, including compliance checks, meet‑and‑greet sessions, and immersion training.
* Ensure cost‑effective HR service delivery, balancing operational excellence with budget‑conscious decision‑making.
Employee Relations & Works Council Engagement
* Manage the employee relations cases of the campus, including complex and sensitive issues, ensuring resolution in line with Swiss labor law and company values.
* Serve as the main contact for works council discussions and negotiations, including social plans and collective agreements.
* Liaise with local authorities and legal teams to ensure compliance and manage audits.
Process Optimization & Compliance
* Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
* Ensure local adaptation of global policies, maintaining compliance with Swiss labor laws and regulations.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and security, and coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee‑centric HR service delivery.
Manager and Employee Experience & Capability Building
* Promote the use of self‑service tools and provide feedback to global teams to enhance user experience.
* Coach leaders and managers on performance management, employee engagement, and HR policies.
* Deliver training and development interventions to upskill managers in HR processes and systems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Swiss HR certifications.
* 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist and operational roles, ideally in a multinational environment with a manufacturing site and with exposure to Swiss labor law and HR practices.
* Solid understanding of Swiss employment law, payroll, social security, and employee relations frameworks, including experience in works council collaboration and negotiations.
* Proven ability to manage complex HR cases, contractual matters, and sensitive employee relations topics with discretion and professionalism.
* Strong problem‑solving, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions for cross‑functional HR challenges.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver cost‑effective HR service delivery, balancing operational excellence with budget‑conscious decision‑making.
* Fluent in French, English, German is a plus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and influence across all levels of the organization.
* Structured and detail‑oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving continuous improvement.
