We are seeking a passionate and experienced Financial Accountant with Accounts Payable focus, who is eager to grow their career in Finance operations within the exciting watchmaking industry. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate expenses recording and cash management across the organization and acts as a key liaison between Finance and operations. The role works closely with our factory team in Switzerland and the global supply chain in China.
Your responsibilities
* Accurately, effectively and timely manage the approval process of incoming supplier invoices in Tangro for 3 legal entities (MWL, Remonta, and MWFE), for both direct and indirect expenses
* Correctly record suppliers' invoices and POs in SAP
* Maintain the vendor master data (new vendors, changes of bank accounts, and other info)
* Perform payment runs on a weekly basis and submit them for approval in online banking
* Review and control travel and entertainment expense reports
* Maintain and review the petty cash register for 2 legal entities
* Responsible for managing the requests sent to our finance E-Mails
* Reconcile specific general ledger accounts monthly
* Continuously look for potential improvements in overall process and activities
* Actively support the Finance team with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
* Responsible for the digitalization and archiving of old hard copies
Your Profile
Professionally (REQUIRED)
* Degree in Accounting, or completed Swiss Sachbearbeiter/in Rechnungswesen certificate
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit, finance or accounting
* Solid understanding of the Swiss Code of Obligations; knowledge of Swiss GAAP or IFRS is a plus
* Business fluency in English is mandatory; German is a clear advantage
* Proficiency in SAP, MS Outlook, Excel, and other standard tools
