Neurodiversity Support Network Switzerland (nsns) is a burgeoning Swiss association dedicated to bridging the gap in neurodiversity support. We provide direct psychosocial counseling, professional training, and advocacy to foster a society where neurodivergent individuals can thrive. We are a multilingual international team with a large portion of English-speaking clientele as well as team communication conducted in English. As we finalize our official registration, we are looking for a foundational team member to help build our clinical and operational infrastructure from the ground up.

The Role:
This is a hybrid role combining direct clinical care with strategic program management. You will be instrumental in delivering empathic psychosocial support to neurodivergent individuals and families while simultaneously building the technical and financial systems that will allow nsns to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct Patient Care & Psychosocial Counseling
• Provide 1-on-1 (individual) and family counseling sessions tailored to neurodivergent needs (Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, etc.).
• Facilitate peer support groups or workshops for the neurodivergent community.
2. Program Development & Clinical Training
• Design and coordinate training modules for mental health professionals, educators, and coaches.
• Act as a bridge between current neurodivergence research and practical application in professional settings.
• Clinical Programming: Establish and oversee an internship program by building partnerships with local universities (e.g., UNIL, UNIGE, Webster - Geneva).
• Identify and apply for Swiss-based grants, private foundations, and public funding.
• Assist in the administrative tasks related to the association’s official registration and compliance.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms to raise awareness and grow the network.
• Manage digital communication tools and community newsletters.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
• Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Profession Association: Hold membership from at least one professional association in your field (FSP, SGfB, IFSW, etc.)
• Expertise: Deep lived or professional knowledge of neurodivergence and neuro-affirming practices.
• Language: Good knowledge of at least one Swiss national language (French, German, Italian) and English.
• Experience: Ideally at least one year of experience working with neurodivergent patients.
Soft Skills:
• Self-Starter: You are comfortable working with ambiguity and taking initiative in a "founding" environment.
• Empathetic Communicator: You can navigate sensitive clinical conversations and professional networking with equal ease.
