Night GEM (Guest Experience Maker) - Six Senses Crans Montana As Night GEM, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:
Manage the activities at the reception during the night shift.
Ensure communication and follow-up with the day shift on any issues, guest requests, or special requirements.
Review late arrivals, early arrivals, and departures to plan for the next day’s activities. Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements.
Run daily reports, night audit reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and registration procedures in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible.
Have knowledge of room rates and suggest upselling when appropriate.
Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, and ensure all guest billing procedures are handled correctly, minimizing rebates during checkout and bidding farewell to guests.
Ensure all department equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Maintain and exceed performance benchmarks.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications To succeed as a Night GEM, the following qualifications, technical skills, and experience are required:
High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel operational role. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms is also required.
European or Swiss Passport.
