Key responsibilities
Define and deliver UEFA’s HR strategy, positioning HR as a strategic enabler for organisational and people’s success.
Provide expert HR counsel to UEFA’s senior leadership on all people-related matters.
Inspire, develop and empower the HR team while overseeing the department budget.
Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across the entire lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Foster a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, inclusive leadership, and promote diversity, equity and belonging across all levels of the organisation.
Design and implement training, talent development and succession initiatives.
Lead recruitment strategy and execution, including large-scale campaigns (e.g. UEFA EURO) and key leadership hires.
Define and oversee compensation policies, salary reviews and reward processes to ensure fairness and competitiveness of the organisation.
Provide data-driven insights through HR analytics to support strategic decision-making and champion digital innovations for HR initiatives.
Build constructive relationships with employee representatives, social partners and external stakeholders.
About you
You are an experienced HR leader who combines strategic vision with operational excellence. With strong international exposure and a record of delivering impactful people initiatives, you position HR as both a strategic partner to leadership and a support for employees.
Your profile includes:
Solid experience in senior HR leadership roles, ideally in international and diverse organisations.
Proven ability to design and implement HR strategies balancing business priorities and employee experience.
Broad expertise across HR (talent acquisition, development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, analytics). Knowledge of new HR technologies and strong HRIS expertise are considered assets.
Success in leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Experience in large-scale recruitment campaigns and change management.
Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work constructively with employee representatives and/or social partners.
Excellent communication skills in English and French; other European languages are an asset.
Pragmatic and empathetic, with strong cultural awareness and resilience.
