Alegra Group AG is hiring on behalf of a leading technology-driven organization in Basel. We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer with hands-on expertise in OpenShift AI, Docker, and Kubernetes to support our client’s AI platform initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to scalable AI deployment strategies and play a critical role in customer-facing engagements.
Tasks
1. Act as the technical point of contact in pre-sales engagements, providing expert guidance on OpenShift AI solutions.
2. Design and demonstrate scalable AI deployment architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
3. Work closely with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Deliver product presentations, live demos, proof of concepts, and technical workshops.
5. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback from the field.
6. Travel to customer sites as required (mostly within Switzerland).
Requirements
1. Proven hands-on experience with OpenShift AI, including configuration and optimization.
2. Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in real-world, production-level deployments.
3. Solid understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle management and scalable infrastructure design.
4. Previous experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant role.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly for customer meetings.
7. Fluency in English (German is a plus).
