Data Architect – Space C5I
You will play a key role in planning, designing and managing the data architecture for the space program.
Responsibilities
* Plan, design and manage the space program’s data architecture.
* Develop models and structures for storing and accessing large volumes of data.
* Integrate data sources (e.g., satellites, ground stations) and implement interfaces.
* Maintain data throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance with security and compliance standards.
* Implement systems for processing and analyzing data.
* Guarantee scalability, high availability, reliability and performance of the data infrastructure.
* Define access policies and protect data from misuse.
* Collaborate with other architects to align data architecture with overall system requirements.
What you should bring with you
* Completed degree in computer science, data science or a related discipline.
* Several years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, and/or data management.
* Professional experience in the space field and with DevSecOps structures.
* Strong hands‑on mentality, self‑management skills and a proactive attitude.
* Solution‑oriented, connected thinking mindset and an eye for complex structures and processes.
* Strong communication skills and an understanding of proactive stakeholder management.
* EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (security screening).
* Business fluent in English (written and spoken); German skills are a plus.
