Job Description:
* Collaborate with colleagues in our customer care center to efficiently schedule service visits, aiming to meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Install products from our diverse Molecular and Chromatography portfolio, demonstrate instrument specifications, and instruct customers on use (Familiarization).
* Perform preventive maintenance and qualifications on customer instruments to improve instrument uptime and availability.
* Prepare detailed documentation of maintenance and qualification activities to meet regulatory requirements.
* Analyze instrument failures and contribute to resolving issues.
* Contribute to overall Service Targets related to Bookings, Revenues, Service Profit, and Overhead Cost, following internal rules, processes, and practices.
* Perform all Service Activities in line with internal rules and customer regulations.
* Maintain the highest professional relationship with customers to foster loyalty and promptly address issues.
* Follow ethical business conduct guidelines.
* Manage company assets such as Car Stock/Inventory of Parts, Computers, Tools, Software, Company Car, Manuals, etc.
* Coordinate with relevant partners (Dispatching, Team Leader, etc.) to optimize work schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Curiosity about analytical instruments, systems, applications, new products, and technologies.
* Technical education or a chemical background.
* Proficiency in German and good knowledge of English.
* Driving license.
* Excellent interpersonal, self-motivation, and negotiating skills.
* Willingness to travel mainly within Switzerland; international travel within EMEA and the US may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of experience servicing Molecular and/or Chromatography products or as a user.
* Good hardware and software skills, especially with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
* Knowledge of French is an advantage.
