|| Position
You will be in charge of leading our software product development team towards making our next generation robotic exoskeleton. You will conceive our software stack architecture before leading its implementation. You will translate product requirements into software features for the best exoskeleton of its class. You will be in charge of growing the team you will lead into a multi-disciplinary and integrated group of excellent professionals. Your experience in developing embedded software for robotic devices will benefit the team and inspire respect and interest from your co-workers. It will have a substantial contribution to the product’s value provided to the patients and their relatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Lead the development and testing of our product software stack, including embedded software (firmware) and related applications
* Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
* Supervise and execute the software development of our robotic exoskeleton product while accounting for timeline constraints
* Identify and execute the key steps required to sustain our technological lead
* Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
* Translate the product functional requirements into product features
* Grow the software engineering team by screening, interviewing, recruiting and hiring top-level candidates

There is no challenge too difficult for you, you enjoy discovering and defining problems as much as solving them.
You have developed software products that meet the high quality standards of medical grade devices of class II or III.
You are able to set priorities and focus on what is most important.
You are a cross-disciplinary team member. You are excited to work with and learn from mechanical, electrical, materials engineers, movements scientist and designers. You are comfortable communicating across teams.
You aspire to make the world a better place, contribute to a more equal and sustainable society.
Degree in computer science, robotics, embedded systems, electrical engineering or equivalent.
Qualifications
* Embedded C, preferably in STM32 ecosystem
* Embedded Linux (Debian)
* General understanding of robotics, systems engineering and their principles
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with QT and Android app design
* Experience in software development within regulated environment (EU MDR or 21 CFR)
* Data analysis (Python or MATLAB)
* Experience in the field of wearable robotics
* Experience with computer vision
* Management or technology management degree
* German, French
