Job Support Technician
Provide first and second level end user support for all end device equipment, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and barcode scanners.
Ensure operation, maintenance, and development of the ICT infrastructure across all Swissterminal AG locations, covering servers, clients, network, telephony, and Microsoft 365 (including Intune and Autopilot).
Offer diagnostic support to the System and Network Engineering Teams and the Service Desk, focusing on desktops, WAN, LAN, and servers, and document site-specific network, server, and end device setups.
Create and update work instructions for new or modified tasks, ensuring proper formatting and storage as directed by the TSS team lead.
Participate in the global support on-call rotation, providing support for various DP World plants, and respond to support calls within 10 minutes. Support includes monitoring emails for alerts and escalating issues as needed.
Assist with change management during weekends when on call, following DP World’s processes for change, incident, and problem management, and escalate issues to the Service Desk when necessary.
Proactively identify security issues in accordance with DP World’s security protocols and escalate them appropriately. Manage IT equipment lifecycle in line with purchasing procedures.
Provide onsite support for new site launches and server/network refreshes.
Qualifications
* Computer science qualification or equivalent professional training and certification, with relevant work experience in a technical field.
Experience
* Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes and procedures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal IT teams, business leaders, and external auditors.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment while maintaining confidentiality.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and software.
* Understanding of network systems, protocols, server hardware, and operating systems.
* Languages: Fluent in German; proficiency in English or French is advantageous.

* Additional support at other regional locations may be needed.
