Primary PurposeField Observations: Students attending college to become a certified teacher are required to obtain Field Observation hours in a classroom with a certified teacher.Student Teaching: Some programs require participants to become a student teacher for a period of time to pursue a teaching certification.RequirementsField ObservationsMust be currently enrolled in a teacher education course at a college/university or enrolled in a teacher certification program.Provide a letter, on college/university or alternative teaching certification program letterhead, that states your name and indicates the necessity for observation hours. - PLEASE ATTACH TO THE APPLICATIONIndicate which campus you would like visit during your observation time.Student TeachingMust be currently enrolled in a teacher education course at a college/university or enrolled in a teacher certification program.Your university or college must contact Barbara Gibbs at bgibbs@magnoliaisd.org to request a student teaching position prior to approval.Once approved, you will receive an email notifying you that you are approved for Field Observation or Student Teaching.
