Job Description
In this role, you are co-responsible for managing the systems of the central infrastructure, including servers, databases, and virtualization solutions, with a strong focus on information security, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems. You develop security architectures and implement protective measures. You are supported in this mission by our central cybersecurity team.
Your main responsibilities:
* Act as the link between cybersecurity and the Infrastructure Platform Services teams
* Proactively identify and assess cybersecurity risks related to Platform Services
* Define and implement preventive measures to mitigate cyber risks
* Continuously improve protection measures in close collaboration with business and cybersecurity teams
* Develop and maintain infrastructure security concepts, guidelines, and requirements
* Serve as the technical point of contact for information security matters within the Infrastructure Platform Services domain

You bring:
* A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science, with additional training/certifications in cybersecurity
* Several years of experience in enterprise infrastructure roles with a focus on cybersecurity, or in technical cybersecurity functions
* Strong experience in the implementation, hardening, and operation of enterprise Microsoft and Linux environments, databases, and virtualization solutions such as VMware, Kubernetes, Citrix, etc.
* Experience in offensive security (security audits, penetration testing, CTFs, etc.) and expertise in securing Azure / Microsoft 365
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO / IEC 270xx, NIST) and risk management
* A cooperative, hands-on mindset and experience with agile ways of working
* Excellent communication skills in German and English
