On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a motivated Purchasing Assistant. The successful candidate will handle a range of administrative purchasing tasks, assist with procurement-related inquiries, and ensure accurate and timely data management in the ERP system.
* Act as the first point of contact for procurement queries.
* Address routine inquiries and escalate matters to the appropriate team members.
* Perform regular maintenance and updates within the ERP system, such as contract reassignments, purchase order modifications, and closure activities.
Requirements
* Knowledge of procurement workflows, including purchase orders and requisitions.
* Solid IT proficiency and comfort working with digital procurement systems.
* Fluency in English and a working knowledge of German (minimum B1).
* Experience with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion or SAP is an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with academic or practical exposure to procurement, supply chain, or business administration.
