At EPAM, we are looking for a skilled Snowflake Architect / Engineer to join our on-site team in Geneva. As part of a high-impact data initiative, you will help design, implement and maintain a Snowflake-based platform supporting analytics for trading and risk management.

Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting
* Collaborate with business and technology teams to align data design with evolving needs
* Support data migration and transformation efforts from legacy systems
* Ensure performance, scalability, governance and security across data assets
Requirements
* Proven experience designing and operating Snowflake-based data platforms
* Hands-on experience with AWS services
* Proficient in Data Modelling, Data Integration and Data Software Engineering
* Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation and data engineering tasks
* Experience with data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT)
* Familiarity with RDBMS systems and migration to cloud environments
* Understanding of data governance, data quality and security frameworks
* Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Nice to have
* Snowflake certification
* Exposure to commodity trading or financial risk domains
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in data workflows
* Knowledge of big data ecosystems and related technologies
