The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in reimbursement methodologies and will have a proven track record of leading teams to success. The Manager will have excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing strategies to optimize and improve reimbursement related processes. Location: Fully remote (must be able to travel throughout the United States).QualificationsMust have at least five to eight years’ experience managing an Accounts Receivable department, or healthcare reimbursement operationMulti‑site managerial experience in a healthcare services company is strongly preferredExperience with governmental and commercial payers and revenue cycles is strongly requiredManagerial experience at a complex respiratory company is a major advantageMust have a driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standingMust have strong PC skills, especially the MS Office suite. Must also have a willingness to become an expert user of our enterprise system Brightree, which is used to track patient care, order fulfillment and reimbursementA strong work ethic and desire to serve our referral sources and patients is essentialResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and maintenance of reimbursement strategies and programsMonitor changes in reimbursement regulations, trends, and technologiesDevelop and monitor reimbursement budgets and goalsAnalyze reimbursement data to identify areas of improvementFacilitate the resolution of reimbursement issues between payers and providersDevelop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, managed care organizations, and other payersCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursementDevelop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable reimbursement regulations and contractual requirementsOther duties as assignedPhysical DemandsThe physical requirements listed here indicate what an employee must meet to effectively perform this role's essential functions.
