At our location in Gümligen, we are responsible for measuring and evaluating the ratings of all television programmes available in Switzerland. Since 2022, we have also been responsible for measuring the use of Swiss online media, regardless of whether they are used on conventional television sets or via laptop, tablet or smartphone. To this end, we maintain a panel consisting of over 2,200 selected private households in all language regions of Switzerland.
To strengthen our team of technicians working in the greater Zurich and Bern region we are looking for two:
Field Technician / IT 1st Level Support 80% - 100%
Your competences
* Completed education as a telematics / IT with professional experience in Windows and Apple
Operating System, or professional experience in IT support
* Installation/configuration of Kantar Media audience measurement devices in households
* Good knowledge of networks, routers, firewalls, TCP/IP and on-site server equipment
* Knowledge of ISP devices and installations such as Sunrise, Swisscom or Quickline
* Experience with A/V systems/installation in domestic environments
* Self-organising ability & ability to work without supervision
* Driving licence category B
* German mother tongue, very good knowledge of English
* Punctual, friendly and professional appearance in the panel households
* Organisational and administrative preparation and follow-up of panel visits
* Training and familiarisation of panel members
* Organisation of own material management
* Close collaboration with the internal panel team
* 1st level support for team on network solution
* Testing network solution in our lab in Gümligen to develop them in the field
* Exchange with the product teams in Rennes (F) and London (UK) to further optimize the product set up for the households
* Travel in whole Switzerland to support technicians’ team onsite and backup for absences in other regions
* The job also requires regular presence in the Gümligen office
