Responsibilities
1. Oversee complex global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly and annual closings
2. Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure consistency across global subsidiaries
3. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS)
4. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
5. Support internal and external audits at group level
6. Oversee the global and consolidated reporting matters
7. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in global accounting workflows
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and finance departments in different countries and act as an advisor for various subsidiaries and global finance leaders
9. Conduct trainings for various Stakeholders and develop team members
Profile
10. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration on Master Level or similar (Swiss CPA, Chartered Expert in Financial Managerial Accounting and Reporting)
11. Experience in international accounting, particularly in a global corporate structure
12. Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and a genuine interest in staying up to date
13. Proficiency in Excel and SAP
14. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Any additional languages are an asset
15. Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
