Odne (formerly Lumendo), founded in 2018 and spun out of ETH Zürich and EPFL Lausanne, is on a mission to revolutionize endodontic treatments in the US and EU. Our advanced cleaning technology and light-activated filler help patients keep their natural teeth longer.
Position Overview
We are looking for a curious and independent to enrich our team and support our product development efforts for 6 - 12 months. You will work on improving our products, running lab tests, and contributing to regulatory documentation. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical engineering, prototyping, and regulatory experience while helping expand the reach of a life-changing product.
Tasks
* Support all aspects of the product development process, from formulation optimization (X-ray, CBCT, IR analysis, viscosity testing) to market approval and manufacturing
* Conduct material stability and shelf-life testing by spectroscopic and photopolymerization analysis
* Improve product designs based on market feedback
* Generate experimental data for marketing purposes
* Keep detailed documentation and write clear, concise technical reports, for use in our regulatory files
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in science or engineering (ideally chemistry or material science)
* Thorough lab work experience, ability to work in the lab independently, efficiently, and safely
* Good understanding of chemistry and/or biology. Experience in formulation development is a plus.
* Interest in biomaterials and medical devices.
* High motivation and sense of responsibility. Independent and well-organized working style.
* Outgoing and hands-on personality with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Available full-time for 6 – 12 months
