Job responsibilities
* Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying weaknesses, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
* Reduce quality and scrap costs through structured, data-driven process optimization
* Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, while supporting efficient and productive manufacturing
* Continuously develop and improve the quality management system within mechanical manufacturing
* Support the design of efficient inspection and measurement processes that ensure high quality at high productivity
* Plan and conduct internal audits and follow up on improvement actions
* Take ownership of internal and external complaints, defining sustainable corrective measures and ensuring their effectiveness
* Collaborate closely with production, development, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders
* Support FMEA, SPC, and process capability analyses (CPK, PPK) and continuous improvement initiatives
* Promote clean, structured, and efficient workplaces through 5S
* Contribute to investment and optimization projects aimed at increasing productivity and quality
* With interest and suitability, you may also take on technical leadership responsibility within the quality organization
Your Profile
* Technical education background
* Advanced training in Quality Assurance or Quality Management
* Several years of experience in QA and/or QM, ideally in a manufacturing environment
* Solid knowledge of CAQ systems and ERP systems (SAP)
* Very good PC and MS Office skills
* Fluent German is a must, with good English skills
* Team player
