Join us to enhance the quality of life for those in need. Tasks * Teach creative activation approaches to support individuals with dementia. * Facilitate classes on perception and daily living activities. * Deliver training on basic stimulation and medical perspectives of dementia. Skills * You need a qualification in activation and experience with dementia care. * Strong pedagogical skills in adult education are essential. * Experience and passion for working in a dynamic, supportive environment. The certificate course «Specialist in Activating Everyday Design - Focus on Dementia | SRK Baselland» imparts practical skills for resource-oriented support of people with dementia in care and support institutions and contributes to the sustainable improvement of their quality of life. The one-year course starts each spring and autumn and takes place either on Mondays (autumn) or Tuesdays (spring). We are looking for course instructors for the following areas/topics: * * Creative approaches in activation (2 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays) * * Perception and everyday life (2 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays) * * Basal stimulation (6 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays) * * Dementia from a medical perspective (4 days/year, Mondays and Tuesdays) * The teaching days usually cover full days. The course content is defined; the teaching materials can be individually adapted within the curriculum and learning objectives. Assignments are paid hourly.
