About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Technical Sales Representative to join our Swiss office. This role is ideal for a dynamic, early-career professional (aged 25–30) with a technical background in PV or energy engineering who is eager to bridge the gap between innovation and client needs.
You will play a pivotal role in understanding customer challenges in PV asset management and positioning our advanced AI-powered software as the best solution for their needs.
You’ll work closely with our global sales, product, and engineering teams in Switzerland and India.
1. Develop a deep understanding of SmartHelio’s products and effectively communicate their value to technical and business stakeholders to solve their technical challenges.
2. Actively identify and engage potential clients across Europe and Latin America.
3. Set up meetings or calls between potential customers.
4. Build trusted relationships with technical & commercial stakeholders and manage a pipeline of interested prospects.
5. Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records via HubSpot CRM.
6. Support the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact to signed deal.
7. Degree in Electrical, PV, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8. Fluent in English and another language (ideally, Spanish or German).
9. 1–3 years of experience in technical sales or client-facing roles (internships or projects in renewable energy a preference).
10. Entrepreneurial experience and/or worked in startups, and thrive in dynamic, high-ownership environments.
11. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
12. Curious, proactive, and driven to create impact in the energy space.
13. Willingness to travel across Europe and abroad for client visits or conferences.
14. Salary: CHF 3’500/month + performance-based bonus (signed contracts).
