In this role, you will oversee small-scale projects and process optimizations within a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities include ensuring efficient maintenance, supporting plant operations, and collaborating on process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage documentation, and contribute to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute small-scale projects such as process engineering calculations, plant optimizations, and feasibility studies for new or existing facilities, including cost estimates, timelines, risk assessments, and operational testing
* Ensure that maintenance activities are performed professionally and cost-effectively while maintaining high plant availability, including liaising with regulatory authorities
* Utilize SAP for procurement, technical and commercial evaluations, capacity planning, and optimizing plant and personnel deployment
* Participate in budget monitoring and control related to maintenance, upgrades, and investments within your scope of responsibility
* Maintain and review plant documentation, such as flow diagrams, zone and installation plans, parts lists, and manage change processes in compliance with GMP standards
* Assist in training plant and workshop teams on process knowledge, safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality procedures (cGMP)
Candidate Profile
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field, or a FH/HF technical college diploma
* Previous experience in biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred
* Good understanding of GMP regulations; familiarity with COMOS and SAP is advantageous
* Ability to work independently, with flexibility and strong team collaboration skills
* Structured, detail-oriented, and highly organized work approach
* Solution-driven mindset, open to new ideas and continuous improvement
* Languages: Fluent in English & German
