A pioneering and fast-growing pharmaceutical and biotech organisation is looking to strengthen its team in Visp with the addition of an experienced L&D Manufacturing Lead. Known for its human-centric, ethical, and sustainable approach, the company focuses on the development, manufacturing, and testing of innovative injectable treatments — delivering safe, stable, and differentiated medicines to market. This role is perfect for someone passionate about training, with strong GMP and aseptic manufacturing experience, who’s ready to make a meaningful impact on both people and processes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective training sessions on aseptic practices, cleanroom behaviour, and GMP standards.
* Design and implement practical, hands-on training formats that bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world production activities.
* Create, maintain, and improve training materials, matrices, and qualification records.
* Support onboarding and ongoing upskilling of production staff.
* Assist with audits/inspections related to training and qualification.
* Work cross-functionally with teams across Production, QA, and other departments.
* Contribute to the development and optimisation of aseptic manufacturing procedures and processes.
Qualifications
* Swiss German and English, spoken and written.
* Educational background in life sciences, engineering, or a related technical field.
* Several years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally within sterile drug product filling.
* Strong working knowledge of GMP, especially Annex 1 and aseptic processing.
* Clear, didactic communication style with a genuine passion for knowledge sharing.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and structured — thrives in a team environment.
