Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end procurement activities for aerospace components and systems
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers in compliance with aerospace standards and company requirements
* Lead supplier negotiations (costs, contracts, delivery terms, and performance conditions)
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project and business objectives
* Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and development schedules
* Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and program management teams
* Support supplier qualification, audits, and onboarding processes
* Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures
* Manage risks within the supply chain, including mitigation and contingency planning
* Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
* Provide regular reporting on procurement KPIs, risks, and project status
* Support contract management and resolve supplier-related issues and escalations
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
* University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 7 years of professional experience in procurement/supply chain within the aerospace industry
* Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and supplier management practices
* Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
* Experience working with international suppliers and complex supply chains
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement tools
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
* Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent German (mandatory) and fluent English
* Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage priorities under pressure
