I'm recruiting an Accountant immediately available for a small not-for-proAccountantI'm recruiting an Accountant immediately available for a small not-for-profit organisation located in Geneva (4-month assignment).AccountantOur client is a not-for-profit institution.DescriptionThe Accountant will have the following responsibilities:Day-to-Day AccountingPerform daily bookkeeping in NetSuite, ensuring accounting is done in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with internal procedures and principlesRecord monthly payroll for the whole organisationGrant Accounting and CompliancePerform grant bookings from contract recognition through to revenue recognitionProvide support during grant audits, including preparation of documentation and liaison with auditorsMonthly and Year-End ClosurePerform monthly accounting closure transactions and controls and prepare the related reportsRemote Training and SupportProvide structured, hands-on remote training to the newly appointed accounting staff member in an office in another countryGuide this colleague through internal accounting procedures, chart of accounts, and NetSuite workflowsProfileThe Accountant we are looking for should bring the following background and experience:A diploma and/or certification in AccountingAt least 5 years of work experience in accountingKnowledge of analytical accounting and familiarity with Swiss GAAP Accounting normsDemonstrated strong skills in daily bookkeeping, accounting closure, internal controls requiredExperience in revenue recognition and audit support highly desirableExperience with NGO an assetExperience working with NetSuite mandatoryHighly autonomous working style requiredAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to take initiativeAbility to work under pressureStrong organisational, planning and time-management skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, teamworkFluent in English (written and spoken); Fluent in French is an assetJob OfferThe opportunity to join a small organisation in Geneva.Work from home allowed up to 4 days/week (unless cross-border worker). jidf0ddb47afr jit0522afr jpiy26afr
