SWISSto12 is one of the world’s fastest-growing aerospace companies, evolving from its pioneering use of 3D printing technologies for high-performance Radio Frequency (RF) products and applications to recently announcing the manufacture of entire geostationary telecom satellites, called HummingSat, that define a new category in space.

HummingSat is the world’s first commercial telecom GEO SmallSat developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Its uniquely compact size combined with highly capable telecom payloads allows telecommunications operators to deploy a cost-efficient, compact, and agile asset without sacrificing performance or security. HummingSat has been selected by Intelsat to build the I-45 satellite, by Inmarsat to build three I-8 satellites, and recently by Astrum Mobile to build the NEASTAR-1 satellite.

SWISSto12 is also a leading provider of Radio-Frequency (RF) products and sub-systems for satellite communication and remote sensing applications. The company’s patented 3D printing technologies and associated product designs are unique to deliver lightweight, compact, highly performing, and competitive RF products.

This position is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the growth and scale-up of a new category leader in the Aerospace industry.

Job Requirements

* Min 10 years of experience in commercial/sales leadership roles within the space, satellite, or aerospace sector.
* Strong understanding of sales processes of technical products and infrastructure in a B2B environment B2G environment.
* Understanding of RF systems and satellite communications.
* Strong network in the satellite communications industry and aerospace & defense industries.
* Proven success in delivering strong sales growth in a relevant environment while also scaling sales teams and processes.
* Proven success in building up a sales team of over achievers.
* Have a hands-on, self-starting international and driven mindset.
* Be comfortable working in a scale up environment, with tight timelines, across multiple time zones and with frequent travel.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex deals with institutional and commercial customers.
* Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
* Have outstanding English writing and presenting skills. Solid French is not mandatory but is a strong plus.

Job Responsibilities

* Defining and implementing the company’s global commercial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
* Working in close collaboration with the CEO and the leadership team, to grow and optimizing all revenue generating activities profitably.
* Setting and driving achievement of global revenue targets and long-term growth initiatives through the sales team.
* Growing, leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing international sales team.

You will achieve this by:

* Identifying and analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and product development.
* Developing, implementing and continuously improving sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
* Maintaining a robust, data-driven forecasting and pipeline process.
* Delivering regular performance reports and strategic insights to the executive team.
* Building and maintaining trusted relationships with key customers.
* Developing Partnerships and teaming with other industry players to drive growth and customer success.
* Leading high-level commercial negotiations and contractual discussions for strategic deals.
* Leading product marketing strategy and activities
* Ensuring collaboration across sales, engineering, program management, and operations.
* Delivering on sales and revenue targets for the entire company.
