You support the supervision of the Swiss financial market through the structured preparation, analysis, and visualization of data. You take responsibility for managing the entire data pipeline and ensure high-quality, transparent analyses and reports for internal stakeholders.
Main tasks
Responsibility for the entire data pipeline from data collection through data quality controls (DQM) to analysis and reporting
Assuming the role of Data Steward for defined data areas, including ensuring data quality, consistency, documentation, and professional definitions
Planning, conducting, and maintaining analyses as well as building and further developing reports and dashboards
Structuring and prioritizing analysis requirements in close collaboration with internal departments
Participation in projects as well as support and consulting of internal stakeholders
Profile
Master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) as a data analyst or in a comparable data-driven role
Very good knowledge of SQL as well as a good knowledge of the Python programming language for data analysis
Experience in dealing with data quality, data validation, and reproducible analyses
Independent, structured, and reliable working style as well as enjoyment of teamwork and exchange with internal stakeholders
Experience in banking, insurance, or other financial institutions is an advantage
Very good written and spoken expression in German or French (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language and English (B2)
