The Global Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in nurturing these partnerships and expanding business opportunities within intralogistics and airport automation.
Responsibilities:
Key account management (KAM): Sourcing, building and developing trusted relationships with key customers, including mid-sized companies and large multibillion international companies active in the intralogistics industry, warehouse automation systems, special airport and packaging machinery.
Managing a multimillion dollar project portfolio.
Handle clients’ queries, provide product consulting, execute project offering, and project supervision.
Work in close collaboration with technical and commercial teams in Switzerland to drive technical aspects of business strategy.
Track market development trends and develop go-to-market strategies.
Report to the senior leadership located in the Swiss headquarter.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Key Account Management experience within material handling, intralogistics, or automation industries.
Proven track record in sales and business development — must be a dynamic, sales-driven personality with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Solid understanding of conveyor, warehouse, or airport automation systems.
Nice to have: engineering background (mechanical, mechatronics, systems, or similar).
Technical understanding and interest in out-licensing and contracting.
Willingness to travel globally up to 70% of the time; flexible working location.
Fluent in English and German.
Open-minded, proactive, and relationship-oriented approach.
