Senior Credit Officer - Swiss Mortgage Credit Facilities
We are looking for a Senior Credit Officer to manage and grow the Swiss mortgage book in line with the credit risk appetite of the bank.
Your Role:
* Take responsibility for the analysis, structuring, and underwriting of mortgages and the qualitative growth of the loan book.
* Provide solutions and risk-oriented support in structuring credit solutions, proactively working with stakeholders in the front organization, ensuring risk-appropriate solutions.
* Support the implementation of the mortgage strategy and attend related projects and initiatives as a special matter expert.
* Help develop and improve our credit processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
* A university degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent higher education.
* At least 10+ years of proven experience in the financial industry, and in a credit underwriting function.
* An excellent understanding of mortgage business, end-to-end process, and the Swiss real estate market.
* Strong analytical and structuring skills, combined with a 'can-do' attitude, an ability to judge risks independently, and enable business thanks to a strong client and service-focus.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English, combined with the ability to develop and maintain a professional stakeholder management.
