We are looking for an Application Specialist / Elemental Analysis to join our Analytical Instruments and be part of a team that is at the forefront of innovation in elemental analysis technology! You should be an exceptionally skilled XRF Specialist with extensive experience in XRF (ED and WD) instrumentations, applications, analyses and demonstrations. Location: Ecublens/Cheseaux - Switzerland
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct XRF demonstrations and analyses of prospect samples.
* Provide technical support and handle XRF for customer demonstrations and reports.
* Develop teamworks with key customers and act as an ambassador for BEA.
* Prepare and present conference material during events in French or English.
* Propose and develop new applications with the XRF applications team.
* Participate in development and innovation roadmaps.
* Assist Sales and Dealers with inquiries and non-standard requests.
* Establish and update XRF marketing materials, such as application notes
* Collaborate with the Product Manager to support business strategy and roadmap
* Respect and optimize sample management procedures
* Maintain work equipment and ensure document integrity according to procedures and guidelines.
* Observe quality and safety rules in all laboratories and demo areas.
Your Qualifications
* Engineer or Master’s degree or PhD, Physics, Chemistry, Material sciences, or a related field.
* Confirmed experience in any other technique for elemental analysis, XRD and/or TOF would be a plus
* Excellent knowledge of Eurachem and ISO norms for validating analytical methods
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions.
* Strong interpersonal skills in English (French is a plus)
* Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
