* Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
* Responsible for purchasing beverages and wines
* Monitoring and managing the cash register and inventory management system
* Overseeing the reservation system
* Preparing statistics and analyses
* Writing menus and promotional offers
* Creating duty rosters and work schedules
* Responsible for quality assurance and service standards
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of service staff
* Leading and motivating the team during shifts to ensure high performance
* Handling guest feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
* Assisting in budget planning and cost control (labor, food cost, beverage cost)
* Monitoring KPIs and contributing to revenue optimization strategies
* Ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP standards)
* Coordinating with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service flow
* Supervising opening and closing procedures
* Managing supplier relationships and negotiating with vendors when required
* Assisting in organizing events, banquets, and private functions
* Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks
* Implementing and maintaining upselling and cross-selling strategies
* Supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives and promotions
* Ensuring proper handling of cash, billing, and daily financial reconciliation

* Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist
* 2+ years of professional experience in upscale hospitality, preferably in a similar position
* Very good command of English and French; German language is an advantage
* Experience with international clientele as well as solid knowledge of wines
* Knowledge of the Micros POS system is an advantage
* Responsible personality with a pleasant leadership style
