Field Service Technician 80 - 100% (w/m/d) As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliable operation of traction transformers across customer sites and in our factory. You will perform hands-on repairs, diagnose technical issues, and support customers directly. With your practical expertise, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and contribute to continuous product and process improvements.
How you’ll make an impact
Always follow safety standards and company procedures during both field (60%) and factory (40%) activities.
Perform on-site repairs and servicing of traction transformers, delivering prompt and professional solutions.
Conduct field repairs, electrical diagnostic testing, and oil treatment at customer locations.
Support failure investigations through disassembly, root-cause analysis, and the preparation of technical reports.
Provide customers with technical support and training on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
Contribute to small improvement projects aimed at boosting quality, efficiency, and service processes.
Prepare service documentation, including work reports, material usage, quality inspection cards, and repair records.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, project management, and sales teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
In the factory, ensure effective coordination and execution of repair work alongside the Service team.
Your background
Completed technical apprenticeship or degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical/Maintenance fields.
Minimum of 1–2 years of field service or technical repair experience, ideally in an industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical cabling diagrams, and schematics.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for solving complex technical problems.
Customer-oriented communicator, fluent in English; French is an advantage.
Independent, self-driven, and flexible with working hours.
