This role is responsible for defining and executing the regional marketing strategy for the Orthodontic Channel, driving growth, engagement, and digital adoption across all EMEA markets. It ensures that Ortho marketing initiatives are fully aligned with the EMEA business strategy and directly support commercial performance, customer engagement, and brand leadership. The position represents the voice of the customer within the EMEA Marketing organization and plays a central role in shaping Align’s partnership with orthodontists to expand adoption of the Align Digital Platform, strengthen clinical leadership, and accelerate Invisalign and iTero growth. The position is fully based onsite 5 days per week in Rotkreuz.
Role expectations
* Channel Development and Growth
* Define and lead the EMEA Ortho Channel Marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities for recruitment, activation and digital transformation.
* Translate strategic pillars into strong value propositions and customer‑centric programs that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
* Partner with EMEA Channel Team and Local Marketing Teams to integrate the Ortho Channel across broader growth journeys, ensuring that orthodontists remain central to Align’s ecosystem approach.
* Leverage market insights, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and scale.
* Build and manage frameworks for marketing performance measurement, ensuring data‑driven optimization and continuous improvement.
* Develop and execute end‑to‑end marketing programs that support orthodontists in adopting the Align Digital Platform and enhancing treatment efficiency, patient conversion, and clinical confidence.
* Partner with Clinical team to co‑create professional education pathways, digital learning programs, and thought leadership content that reinforce Align’s clinical credibility and innovation leadership.
* Lead the creation of scalable communication toolkits and engagement programs that enable orthodontists to effectively market Invisalign and iTero to their patients.
* Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Marketing Services to deliver integrated engagement experiences—combining CRM/Sales Force, digital journeys, and automation for targeted, data‑driven outreach.
* Ensure orthodontic customers are represented in all regional campaigns, brand initiatives, and digital platforms, embedding the Ortho voice across EMEA Marketing.
Impact
This role is critical to advancing Align’s leadership in the ortho channel across EMEA and will define how Align engages, supports, and grows its ortho customer base, ensuring marketing excellence that delivers both clinical and business impact. By driving innovation, education, and digital adoption, this position will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of Align’s growth journey in EMEA.
What We’re Looking For
* 12+ years of proven leadership experience in healthcare marketing, ideally within dental, medtech/pharma.
* Master’s degree, preferred MBA, business studies.
* Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable growth strategies.
* Demonstrated success in professional engagement, marketing and digital transformation initiatives.
* Expertise in stakeholder management, cross‑functional collaboration, and influencing in a matrix environment.
* Expertise in change management and organizational transformation, enabling teams to adapt and thrive in dynamic conditions.
* Proven experience in building high‑performing teams, including talent development, succession planning, and coaching.
* High level commercial acumen, with a growth mindset and commitment to excellence in execution.
