As a Room Attendant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:
Monitor daily arrivals according to occupancy reports in coordination with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Assist guests with special needs and requirements.
Stock supply wheel trolley with required room supplies for each shift.
Replace supplies in the rooms such as stationery, guest supplies, compendium, hotel brochures, and information regarding hotel services and facilities.
Remove furniture, curtains, and other fixtures requiring repair, replacement, spotting, waxing, or cleaning.
Change bed linen with clean sheets and pillowcases as per resort policy.
Attend to all details, style, and overall appearance of all areas.
Apply, use, and maintain equipment with utmost care and responsibility.
Provide turn-down service according to service standards, including re-stocking minibar items.
Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Room Attendant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS, and CRM platforms. I have a good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and surfaces.
- Fluent in English and/or French.
- European or Swiss passport.
