- Review and optimize the design of automation solutions for buildings, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems, in collaboration with external planners
- Lead the planning and execution of all electrical systems (low voltage, medium voltage, UPS, emergency power supply, EMC-compliant installations)
- Design and integrate modern building automation systems (MSRL, BACnet/Modbus systems, interfaces to GMP-relevant equipment)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP, GEP, ATEX, electrical safety standards, cybersecurity in building automation)
- Coordinate and lead external engineering firms, system integrators, and contractors
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including Engineering, IT, Operations, and Quality Assurance
- Support the project from concept planning through commissioning, qualification, and handover to operations and maintenance
- Develop concepts and standards for the new site
- Ensure compliance with required quality, regulatory standards, budget, and timelines
- Apply in-depth knowledge of relevant Swiss norms and regulations (e.g., NIN SN 411000, StV, NIV, VKF, SIA 386/110, SIA 206) and manage approval processes with authorities (e.g., ESTI)
Your profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, building technology, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in planning and implementing complex industrial projects in regulated environments, ideally in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
- Strong expertise in EIC and BMS systems, including energy-efficient design and integration with process equipment
- Familiarity with GMP, GEP, ATEX, and validation processes
- Proven experience in project management within interdisciplinary teams
- Independent, structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
- High resilience and flexibility
- Very good knowledge of German and English; project language is English
